When you love gambling and and live in Asia.. u must go to Macau. People saying that it look like a small Vegas. Well i’ve never been to Vegas, but there are so many casino in Macau that i believe the most people living in there are working in casino.
We were staying in The Venetian, and the hotel is hugeee. I’ve never seen hotel this big before. It filled with tons of shops, restaurants, and of course a big casino. It even has the man-made river which has gondolas just like in Venetia. Well it’s an unforgettable trip.

Sunny day in Madrid!! finally the first fine day during the whole trip.. It took another 5 hours by bus to get to Madrid.. from Valencia. We had lunch in restaurant full of meat hanging which looks like its interior decoration
then.. the appetizer is a plate with different kind of processed meat such as errr all i know is salami. There were so many of them and I have no idea what the name and it surely didn’t suit my taste. Luckily the main course was sea food platter. No more meat for me!
Next, we went to Royal Palace. It’s quiet interesting things to see that huge palace and seeing all the interior of it. Unfortunately, we’re not allowed to take pictures inside.. -_-”
For group picture we stopped by the stadium used for matador, Plaza de Toros. Too bad we went there on a wrong month. Winter just came in.. and basically there were nothing special happening in Spain.. except the MotoGP
Well nothing interesting on these 3 days, except we went around Valencia and spend most of the time in the circuit. Almost raining every day.. except the last day in MotoGP.. and then i got sun burnt
Arrived at Barcelona 9:30am, it was cold windy and raining. Since we won’t be able to check in to the hotel till afternoon, the tour guide bring us around town.. starting from Spanish Village which filled with different Spanish architecture. I was disappointed since the weather is so gloomy that day. After Spanish village, the next stop was Estadi Stadium where they held the opening and closing of 1992 Olympic which by the time we visited was and empty stadium and nothing to see. Monjuich Hill was the next stop.. where we can view the whole city..
Then the main spot was Sagrada Familia.. a very big church designed by famous Spanish architect.. Antoni Gaudi. They have been building this church 1882, and it’s not even finished by now and yet Gaudi himself has passed away. Now the project is continued by other architect.
Last stop was… shopping time!! We were dropped in La Rambla St. and since I don’t really like to shop, i just walk around the city while others already scrambling to buy souvenirs or those LV or Gucci.

Thanks for Sasana Artha Finance (SAF), they give me an incentive tour to Spain. I don’t know why, but I don’t really excited and hoping much from this trip. Probably because it will be winter and as my Spanish friend told me.. it’s rainning most of the time.
The trip was 10 days, but considering the long flight and the bus ride from different cities, it’s only 7 days effective.
The route was:
Denpasar – Singapore – Milan – Barcelona – Valencia – Madrid – Segovia – Madrid – Barcelona – Milan – Singapore – Denpasar
I don’t remember which tourist spot start it first.. but now Sanur, Nusa Dua, and Kuta have their own fiesta or so called festival. It’s held once a year and i think the main purpose is to promote their own area for tourism industries.
Among all those events, Nusa Dua festival doesn’t really interest me. It’s far
(i’m a lazy driver + it takes about 40+ minutes to get there).. and somehow the rundown of the event all filled with “hotel day.” I’m not sure what is it about, but maybe since it’s sponsored by hotels, they provide special slot on the event for all the hotels participate in it to do promotions.
Well I went there actually just to see the fiesta parade which held on the first day hoping to get stock photo just for my collection.
